- Insert rates are cost per thousand based on quantity delivered between September and August.
- Metro expanded and country insert distribution – add $7/M.
- Rates apply to inserts weighing 100 grams or less each. Inserts weighing over 100 grams each by quotation only (sample required).
- Pre-printed insert packages containing two or more different-sized insert pieces from the same advertiser will be surcharged 50%.
- Multiple brand packages (nested inserts) consisting of two or more different brands will be surcharged 50% for each additional brand.
- Rate for delivery on a statutory holiday is $92/M (volume discounts do not apply).
- Brokered Space Inserts – inserts which contain advertising from a third party who has a history of dealing directly with Calgary Herald may be considered for distribution pending review of a sample. Minimum distribution charge for Brokered Space Inserts is $175/M.
